The FurtherAI Accelerator for PolicyCenter is now live on the Guidewire Marketplace. It takes a commercial submission from the broker's email into Guidewire PolicyCenter with no re-keying. FurtherAI reads the submission, clears and screens it, checks it against your underwriting guidelines, and routes it to the right underwriter. Status and premium then sync back for portfolio-wide analytics.
The accelerator runs on Guidewire Cloud Platform and builds on the Guidewire partnership we announced in April 2026.
Everyone in insurance is working on submission ingestion. But submissions are rarely complete the first time around, and a submission that's been read still has to be cleared, checked, assigned, and keyed into the policy system.
Brokers feel it too. In Ivans' 2026 survey of more than 700 agents, 90% said they had reduced business with a carrier because of workflow friction, and 79% named commercial submission automation as the capability they most want from carriers.
That's where agentic workflows make a difference. An agent can carry a submission through every step after intake, including following up for missing information, and bring in a person only where judgment is needed.
FurtherAI picks up the broker's email, reads every attachment, and extracts what underwriting needs. It runs clearance, screens the insured for sanctions, litigation, and adverse media, checks your guidelines to recommend quote, refer, or decline, and assigns the right underwriter. If clearance flags something, the run pauses so a person can decide whether it moves forward.
FurtherAI searches PolicyCenter for the account and creates the submission with the insured and policy details filled in, so your underwriter can go straight to quoting. In Applied Systems' 2026 connectivity survey, 74% of agents named re-keying data into carrier portals as their top pain point. With FurtherAI, the data goes in once.
As submissions move through PolicyCenter, their status and quoted premium sync back to FurtherAI. Underwriting leaders get one live view of what’s pending, quoted, and bound, premium by line of business, and quote-to-bind ratio, without pulling a separate report. Every step can be reviewed, and every action FurtherAI takes is logged and auditable.
When submission prep happens before a file reaches the underwriter, each one arrives ready for a decision. At a U.S. managing general agent (MGA) writing more than $1.5 billion in premium, the average time to clear a submission fell from about 32 minutes to about one after moving intake to FurtherAI, and Upland Specialty cut its clearance time by roughly 30% to 40%. For the broader picture, see our guide to submission processing platforms for carriers and MGAs.
