Version 1.0
Last revised: October 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (these “Terms ”) are a legal agreement between you and FurtherAI Inc., a Delaware corporation (“FurtherAI, ” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of (i) our website at www.furtherai.com and any other website we operate that links to these Terms (the “Site ”), and (ii) the FurtherAI Apps for Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Slack described in Section 3, until an App is connected to a Customer account.
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. Section 1.2 explains that our paid platform is governed by a separate Customer Agreement, not by these Terms. Sections 9 and 10 limit our warranties and our liability to you.
1. Scope of These Terms
1.1 What These Terms Cover. These Terms apply to:
(a) visitors to the Site, including anyone who requests a demo, contacts us, or downloads content from the Site;
(b) anyone who installs, adds, or accesses an App, until that App is Connected; and
(c) every user of an App, including Authorized Users of a Connected App, with respect to the user responsibilities in Section 3.6 and Section 4, to the extent the applicable Customer Agreement does not address them.
1.2 Customer Agreements Control. FurtherAI’s cloud-based AI platform and related services (the “Services ”) are available only to organizations that have entered into a separate written or electronic agreement with FurtherAI for the Services, such as a Cloud Service Agreement, order form, or statement of work, including an agreement entered into through a third-party marketplace (a “Customer Agreement ”; each such organization, a “Customer ”). An “Authorized User ” means an individual whom a Customer permits to access the Services under its Customer Agreement. The Customer Agreement, and not these Terms, governs the Customer’s and its Authorized Users’ access to and use of the Services, including through a Connected App. If these Terms conflict with a Customer Agreement, the Customer Agreement controls.
1.3 Acceptance and Authority. By accessing or using the Site, or by installing, adding, or using an App, you agree to these Terms. If you do so on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site and do not install or use an App.
1.4 Business Use; Eligibility. The Site and the Apps are intended for businesses and professionals, principally in the insurance industry. They are not directed to consumers or to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use the Site or an App.
2. Use of the Site
2.1 License. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and view the Site and to use the Site Content, solely to learn about FurtherAI and our products and services for your internal business purposes. “Site Content ” means all text, graphics, images, videos, software, data, documents, and other material on or available through the Site, including Materials.
2.2 Demo Requests and Other Submissions. When you request a demo, contact us, register for an event or a download, or otherwise submit information through the Site (each, a “Submission ”), you agree that:
(a) the information in your Submission is accurate and complete, and you are authorized to provide it, including any information about your colleagues or your organization;
(b) you will not include in a Submission any confidential information, sensitive personal information, or information about insurance applicants, policyholders, or claimants; and
(c) we may use your Submission to respond to you, to provide the materials you request, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
A Submission does not obligate either you or FurtherAI to enter into any agreement, and we may decline any request.
2.3 Downloadable Materials. We may make white papers, guides, reports, case studies, videos, and other content available for download from the Site (“Materials ”). You may download and use Materials for your internal business reference only, and you must keep all copyright and other proprietary notices intact. You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, or modify Materials, or present them as your own. Materials are provided for general information and are subject to Section 9.
2.4 Platform Login. The Site includes a link to the login page for the Services. Only Customers and their Authorized Users may log in, and their access to and use of the Services is governed by the applicable Customer Agreement.
2.5 Changes to the Site and Apps. We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of the Site or any App at any time, with or without notice. We have no obligation under these Terms to provide support or maintenance for the Site, or for any App that is not Connected.
3. Integrations with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Slack
3.1 Available Integrations. FurtherAI offers applications, bots, and agents (each, an “App ”) that integrate the Services with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Slack (each, an “Integration Platform ”). Apps may be made available through the app directories and marketplaces operated by Microsoft and Slack. Through a Connected App, Authorized Users can submit documents and other content, request information, and run the workflows their Customer has authorized, from within the Integration Platform.
3.2 License to Install. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install, add, and access an App within an Integration Platform workspace or tenant that you are authorized to administer or use, solely to evaluate the App or to connect it to a Customer account. This license does not include any right to access or use the Services.
3.3 Installation Does Not Provide Access to the Services. Anyone may install an App, but an App does not provide access to the Services, and does not run workflows, unless and until it is Connected. Installing an App does not create a Customer Agreement, does not obligate FurtherAI to provide the Services, and does not entitle you to any trial, support, or service levels. Do not submit documents or other content to an App that is not Connected. If you send a message or other content to an App that is not Connected, you authorize FurtherAI to receive and process it only as needed to respond to you, to prompt you to connect the App to a Customer account, and to operate and secure the App, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3.4 Connection to a Customer Account. An App is “Connected ” when it has been linked, through the authentication process we provide, to the account of a Customer whose Customer Agreement covers use of the Services through that App. Once an App is Connected, the Customer Agreement governs the Customer’s and its Authorized Users’ use of the App and the Services, as provided in Section 1.2. An App stops being Connected if the Customer disconnects it or the Customer Agreement expires or terminates.
3.5 Processing of Content Through Connected Apps. When you use a Connected App, you authorize FurtherAI, and confirm that your Customer has authorized FurtherAI, to receive, process, and store the documents, messages, files, and other content that you submit through the App or direct the App to retrieve (“Content ”), and to execute the workflows your Customer has authorized through the Integration Platform, in each case solely to provide the Services. Content is processed in accordance with the applicable Customer Agreement, including any data processing terms that form part of it. You must use a Connected App only as your Customer permits, and you are responsible for having all rights, consents, and authorizations required to submit Content. Responses that an App generates using artificial intelligence may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed by a person before anyone relies on them. Any commitments regarding those responses are set out only in the applicable Customer Agreement.
3.6 Shared Channels and Group Conversations. If you use an App in a channel, group chat, meeting, or other conversation with more than one participant, including a Microsoft Teams shared channel or a Slack Connect channel that includes people outside your organization, the App’s responses and any Content you submit may be visible to every participant in that conversation. In any such conversation, you may request or share information through an App only if every participant, including every external participant, is authorized to receive it. You are responsible for any disclosure that results from a request you make or Content you share in such a conversation. FurtherAI is not responsible for disclosures to participants whom you or your organization admitted to the conversation.
3.7 Integration Platforms. Microsoft and Slack are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the Apps or the Services. Your use of an Integration Platform is governed by your agreements with its provider and by your organization’s settings and policies, and the Integration Platform’s own terms and privacy practices apply to information that the Integration Platform processes. We do not control any Integration Platform and are not responsible for its availability, security, or operation, or for any decision by its provider to suspend, discontinue, or remove an App or the Integration Platform. Your organization’s administrator may control whether you can install or use an App.
3.8 Removing an App. You or your organization’s administrator may uninstall or remove an App at any time through the Integration Platform. Removing an App does not terminate any Customer Agreement, and the Customer Agreement continues to govern any Content processed through a Connected App before its removal.
4. Acceptable Use. You will not, and will not permit anyone else to, do any of the following in connection with the Site or any App:
(a) violate any applicable law or regulation, or the rights of any person, including intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights;
(b) use or attempt to use an App to access the Services without a valid Customer Agreement, or access any account, system, or data that you are not authorized to access;
(c) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any App, or breach or circumvent any security, authentication, or access-control measure, unless FurtherAI has expressly authorized you to do so in writing;
(d) copy, scrape, crawl, or harvest the Site or Site Content by automated means, except that public search engines may index the Site in accordance with our robots.txt instructions;
(e) use the Site, Site Content, or any App to train, fine-tune, or develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, or to build or benchmark a competing product or service;
(f) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code, underlying models, prompts, or algorithms of the Site or any App, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction;
(g) upload or transmit any virus, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with or disrupt the Site, any App, or the networks or systems used to provide them, including by imposing an unreasonable or disproportionately large load;
(h) submit or share any content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or infringing, or that you do not have the right to submit or share;
(i) impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, including in a Submission;
(j) sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Site, Site Content, or any App, or frame or mirror any part of the Site; or
(k) remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice on the Site, in any Site Content, or in any App.
We may investigate any suspected violation of this Section 4 and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, suspending or terminating access, and reporting the matter to law enforcement.
5. Ownership and Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership. FurtherAI and its licensors own all right, title, and interest, including all intellectual property rights, in and to the Site, the Site Content, the Apps, and the Services. These Terms grant you only the limited licenses expressly stated in Section 2.1, Section 2.3, and Section 3.2, and we reserve all rights not expressly granted. Ownership of Content is governed by the applicable Customer Agreement, and nothing in these Terms affects it.
5.2 Trademarks. “FurtherAI,” the FurtherAI logo, and our other product and service names and logos are trademarks of FurtherAI. Microsoft, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Slack, and other third-party names and logos are the trademarks of their respective owners. You may not use any of these marks without the prior written permission of their owner.
5.3 Feedback. If you give us suggestions, comments, or other feedback about the Site, the Apps, or our products and services (“Feedback ”), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to use and exploit that Feedback for any purpose, without obligation or attribution to you. Please do not include confidential information in Feedback.
6. Privacy. Our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.furtherai.com/privacy-policy (the “Privacy Policy ”), describes how we collect, use, and share personal information, and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Personal information contained in Content processed through a Connected App is processed on behalf of the applicable Customer in accordance with its Customer Agreement.
7. Third-Party Services and Links. The Site and the Apps may contain links to, or features that interoperate with, websites, platforms, and services operated by third parties, including the Integration Platforms (“Third-Party Services ”). We do not control and are not responsible for any Third-Party Services, and a link to a Third-Party Service does not mean that we endorse it. Your use of Third-Party Services is at your own risk and is subject to the applicable third party’s terms and privacy policies.
8. Copyright Complaints
8.1 Notices of Claimed Infringement. We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that material on the Site or made available through an App infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated copyright agent identified in Section 8.2 that includes:
(a) your physical or electronic signature;
(b) identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
(c) identification of the material that you claim is infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it;
(d) your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
(e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
(f) a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
8.2 Designated Agent. Our designated agent for notices of claimed infringement is: [Name or Title], FurtherAI Inc., [Street Address, City, State, ZIP], [Email Address].
8.3 Counter-Notices and Repeat Infringers. If you believe that material you provided was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent that contains the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material, and we will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users who are repeat infringers.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 No Warranties. THE SITE, THE SITE CONTENT, AND ANY APP THAT IS NOT CONNECTED ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FURTHERAI AND ITS LICENSORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR ANY APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT THE SITE CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. ANY WARRANTIES FOR THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED, IF AT ALL, ONLY IN THE APPLICABLE CUSTOMER AGREEMENT.
9.2 Informational Content Only. Site Content, including Materials, product descriptions, performance figures, and case studies, is provided for general information only. It is not insurance, legal, financial, actuarial, or other professional advice; it does not bind, modify, or confirm any insurance coverage; and it is not an offer or commitment to provide any product, feature, or result. Statements about future products or features are not commitments.
10. Limitation of Liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (i) FURTHERAI AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, THE SITE CONTENT, OR ANY APP, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES; AND (ii) THEIR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, THE SITE CONTENT, OR ANY APP WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES LIABILITY FOR FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION, FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, OR FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW. THIS SECTION 10 DOES NOT APPLY TO THE SERVICES AND DOES NOT LIMIT OR EXPAND ANY LIABILITY UNDER A CUSTOMER AGREEMENT, WHICH IS GOVERNED SOLELY BY THAT CUSTOMER AGREEMENT.
11. Indemnification. You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FurtherAI and its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any third-party claim, and any resulting losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), to the extent arising out of (i) your breach of these Terms, (ii) your Submissions, or any content that you share through an App in breach of these Terms, including Section 3.6, or (iii) your violation of applicable law or of any third party’s rights. We will notify you of any such claim, although a delay in notice relieves you of your obligations only to the extent the delay prejudices you. We may participate in the defense of any such claim with counsel of our choosing at our own expense, and you may not settle any such claim in a manner that imposes any obligation on us without our prior written consent. This Section 11 does not apply to a Customer’s use of the Services, which is governed by its Customer Agreement.
12. Suspension and Termination. These Terms apply for as long as you use the Site or have an App installed. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any App, or disable any App that is not Connected, at any time, with or without notice, including if we believe that you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Site and remove any App at any time. Suspension or termination under these Terms does not affect any Customer Agreement, which may be suspended or terminated only in accordance with its own terms. Section 5, Section 8 through Section 11, Section 14, Section 16, and this Section 12 survive any termination of these Terms.
13. International Use; Export Controls
13.1 International Use. We operate the Site from the United States, and we make no representation that the Site, the Site Content, or any App is appropriate or available for use in every location. If you access the Site or use an App from outside the United States, including from the European Union or the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with applicable local laws. If you use the Site as a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.
13.2 Export Controls and Sanctions. You will comply with all applicable export control and economic sanctions laws, including those of the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom, in connection with your use of the Site and the Apps. You represent that you are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, and that you are not on, or owned or controlled by a person on, any U.S. government restricted-party list.
14. Governing Law and Venue. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any App, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and you and FurtherAI consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and the choice of law in this Section 14 does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of that country. Disputes under a Customer Agreement are governed by that Customer Agreement.
15. Changes to These Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and change the “Last revised” date above. If we make a material change, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect, such as by a prominent notice on the Site, and the change will take effect no earlier than fifteen (15) days after we post that notice. Other changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site, or your continued installation or use of an App, after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them. Changes to these Terms do not modify any Customer Agreement.
16. General
16.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and FurtherAI regarding the Site and any App that is not Connected, and they supersede any prior understanding on that subject. This Section 16.1 is subject to Section 1.2.
16.2 Severability and Waiver. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
16.3 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction. These Terms bind and benefit the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.
16.4 Electronic Communications and Notices. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email and by notices posted on the Site, and you agree that these communications satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing. Legal notices to FurtherAI must be sent to FurtherAI Inc., 180 Montgomery Street, Suite 2000, San Francisco, CA 94105, with a copy by email to contact@furtherai.com.
16.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries. Except for the persons expressly protected by Section 10 and Section 11, there are no third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
16.6 Force Majeure. We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including outages or failures of an Integration Platform or other Third-Party Service.
16.7 Interpretation. Capitalized terms have the meanings given to them where they are defined in these Terms, whether before or after their first use. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. The word “including” means “including without limitation.” If we provide a translation of these Terms, the English version controls.
16.8 Contact Us. If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at contact@furtherai.com or FurtherAI Inc., 180 Montgomery Street, Suite 2000, San Francisco, CA 94105.
