The two categories we've been shortlisted for point at different things, and both matter to us.

AI Implementation of the Year is a category about substance. It recognizes work that has moved past the demo stage and into production, delivering measurable value inside real underwriting and claims workflows. The bar is set by the operators themselves, which makes it one of the harder categories to earn a place in.

Start-up of the Year is a category about trajectory. It recognizes early-stage companies that have earned meaningful attention across the industry on the strength of what they've built and who's using it. Being shortlisted here says something about the momentum of the last 12 months.

The recognition traces to a founding belief that hasn't changed
